Tuesday was all baseball, and the bats showed up in two cities. The Yankees and Twins each hung 12, New York rolling the White Sox 12-2 and Minnesota matching the margin against the Rangers 12-2. On the other end, the Dodgers and Rays played the night's tightest game, a 1-0 Los Angeles win. With the Knicks holding the NBA title and the Hurricanes holding the Stanley Cup, MLB had the calendar to itself.

New York Yankees, 12 — Chicago White Sox, 2. The Yankees ran away by ten in the night's biggest margin.
Minnesota Twins, 12 — Texas Rangers, 2. Minnesota matched the margin, handing Texas a ten-run loss in the AL Central / AL West matchup.
Philadelphia Phillies, 8 — Miami Marlins, 2. Philadelphia handled Miami by six in the NL East game.
San Francisco Giants, 7 — Atlanta Braves, 2. San Francisco took the interleague matchup by five over Atlanta.
Los Angeles Angels, 7 — Arizona Diamondbacks, 0. A clean shutout in the desert, the Angels holding Arizona to zero across nine.
Washington Nationals, 6 — Kansas City Royals, 4. Washington edged Kansas City by two in the interleague game.
Toronto Blue Jays, 6 — Boston Red Sox, 1. Toronto handled Boston by five in the AL East matchup.
Pittsburgh Pirates, 6 — Athletics, 5. A one-run finish, the Pirates outlasting the Athletics by a single run.
Colorado Rockies, 5 — Chicago Cubs, 2. Colorado took the NL game by three over the Cubs.
Cincinnati Reds, 5 — New York Mets, 3. Cincinnati held off the Mets by two in the interleague matchup.
Houston Astros, 4 — Detroit Tigers, 2. Houston edged Detroit by two in the interleague game.
St. Louis Cardinals, 3 — San Diego Padres, 2. A one-run NL finish, St. Louis slipping past San Diego by one.
Seattle Mariners, 3 — Baltimore Orioles, 1. Seattle handled Baltimore by two in the AL West / AL East crossover.
Milwaukee Brewers, 2 — Cleveland Guardians, 1. A one-run interleague game, Milwaukee edging Cleveland by one.
Los Angeles Dodgers, 1 — Tampa Bay Rays, 0. The night's tightest result, a single run deciding it for the Dodgers.
What to watch tonight
Baseball owns Wednesday too, a full 15-game board with the NBA and NHL both done for the year. The headliner is a Giants-Braves rematch in Atlanta after Tuesday's 7-2 result, while the Dodgers host the Rays again following a 1-0 nailbiter.
