What's New in Rosterlytic 2.4.1
Game duties with reminders, season awards voting, injured reserve, playoff and scrimmage game types, default game lengths, and reliability fixes.
Your team just got a front office. Rosterlytic 2.4.1 is about everything that happens around the games — who's bringing the snacks, who wins MVP, who's hurt, and which games actually count. Here's what's new.
Game Duties
Somebody always forgets it's their snack week. Now Rosterlytic remembers for them.
Assign duties — snacks, scorekeeping, jersey washing, or anything your team needs — to specific players on specific games. Everyone sees the assignment on the game card, and automatic reminders go out before game day so nobody shows up empty-handed. It works right alongside RSVPs: one screen for who's coming and who's bringing what.
Season Awards & Voting
Every team argues about MVP at the end-of-season pizza night. Now you can settle it properly.
Create season awards — MVP, most improved, best teammate, or anything you invent — and open team-wide voting with a deadline. Every player gets a vote, and you can change yours right up until voting closes. When it does, the winners are crowned for the whole team to see — or captains can hand-pick a winner when that's the team's style.
Injured Reserve
Pulled hamstrings happen. Mark a player as injured reserve — backdated to the injury if needed — and everyone knows they're out: their status shows at a glance on the roster and player stats screens, and their attendance record stays fair while they heal, because games missed on IR don't count against their reliability. When they're back, one tap activates them again with their full history intact.
Game Types: Playoffs & Scrimmages
Not every game counts the same, and now your stats know it.
Tag any game as a playoff or a scrimmage. Playoff games are clearly marked across the schedule and game cards. Scrimmages are excluded from season stats entirely — so you can play loose, try new lines, and experiment without anyone's scoring title taking the hit.
Default Game Lengths
Set your team's default game length once, and every game you add to your personal calendar gets a real end time instead of a guess. One small setting, and your calendar finally knows when the game actually ends.
Under the Hood
A batch of fixes you'll feel even if you never see them:
- More reliable notifications — improvements to how devices register for push, so messages and reminders arrive when they should, on both iOS and Android.
- Faster stats loading — stats screens load noticeably quicker, especially deep into a season.
- Home screen fixes — the home screen now refreshes reliably when you return to it.
What's Next
Duties and awards round out the season-long stuff; there's more coming for game day itself. Keep an eye on this space.
