Washington Nationals, 13 — Colorado Rockies, 3. Washington (62-71) turned a close game into a rout with a five-run fifth inning, then coasted from there. Colorado (50-81) committed two errors along the way.

Boston Red Sox, 4 — Miami Marlins, 2. Miami led 1-0 into the fifth before Boston (72-59) tied it, then Miami (67-65) went back ahead in the seventh. Boston answered with a run in the eighth to tie it again and two more in the ninth to win it.

  • Chicago Cubs, 7 — Arizona Diamondbacks, 0. Chicago (76-56) shut out Arizona (69-63) and broke the game open late with a three-run sixth and a two-run seventh.
  • Cleveland Guardians, 4 — Los Angeles Angels, 2. Los Angeles tied it in the fourth, but Cleveland (66-66) answered right away and pulled ahead for good with a two-run sixth. The Angels (52-80) committed two errors along the way.
