Athletics, 4 — Boston Red Sox, 3. The two teams were tied 3-3 through eight innings before Oakland scored in the top of the ninth. Boston didn't answer in the bottom half.

Miami Marlins, 12 — Los Angeles Angels, 3. Miami led 3-1 after the first, then blew the game open with six runs in the fifth.
