Detroit Tigers, 8 — San Francisco Giants, 0. Detroit and San Francisco traded zeros for six innings before Detroit broke it open with six runs in the seventh. The Giants managed two hits all night.
Milwaukee Brewers, 4 — Minnesota Twins, 3. Minnesota's three-run second put Milwaukee in an early hole. Milwaukee tied it with two runs in the fourth, then scored the go-ahead run in the eighth to hold on.
