Sunday crowned a champion. The Carolina Hurricanes shut out the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 in Game 6 to win the Stanley Cup, closing the Final 4-2 and ending Vegas's season on home ice. Baseball ran loud underneath it, led by a 23-9 Rockies demolition at Coors and lopsided wins for the Mets and Nationals. The NBA season is closed — the Knicks took the Finals the night before — so the night belonged to hockey and a full MLB board.
