Yankees beat Red Sox 6-1 on Bellinger and Chisholm HRs. A's shut out Astros, Rangers blank Guardians 10-0 on a 15-game MLB Sunday. Both finals dark.
Sunday was baseball's night. Both championship boards were dark — NBA Finals off-day before Knicks-Spurs Game 3 Monday at MSG, NHL Cup Final off-day before Game 4 Tuesday in Vegas. That left a full 15-game MLB Sunday slate, headlined by a Yankees 6-1 win in the Bronx on Cody Bellinger and Jazz Chisholm homers, an Athletics shutout in Houston, and a 10-0 Rangers blank of the Guardians in Arlington.
NBA — No games
The NBA board was dark, the scheduled off-day after Knicks-Spurs Finals Game 2. New York holds a 2-0 series lead with Game 3 set for tonight at Madison Square Garden, 8:30 PM ET on ABC. San Antonio needs the road split to keep it a series.
NHL — No games
The Stanley Cup Final was off, the day between Vegas-Carolina Games 3 and 4. The Golden Knights lead the series 2-1 after Saturday's 5-4 double-overtime comeback from a 4-0 hole. Game 4 is Tuesday in Las Vegas.
MLB — Fifteen-game Sunday board
The full Sunday slate ran, with two road shutouts (A's, Rangers), a Tigers walk-off in the 9th, a Blue Jays four-run comeback, and a 13-5 Angels punch-back in the Freeway Series finale at Chavez Ravine.
New York Yankees, 6 — Boston Red Sox, 1. Cody Bellinger and Jazz Chisholm Jr. both went deep as the Yankees took the AL East rivalry game in the Bronx by five.
Philadelphia Phillies, 9 — Chicago White Sox, 5. The Phillies took the series at Citizens Bank by four.
Atlanta Braves, 3 — Pittsburgh Pirates, 2. Atlanta finished the home sweep of Pittsburgh by a single run.
Toronto Blue Jays, 6 — Baltimore Orioles, 4. Toronto erased a four-run deficit at home to flip the AL East game by two.
Detroit Tigers, 5 — Seattle Mariners, 4. Detroit walked off Seattle in the 9th at Comerica, a one-run finish.
Miami Marlins, 4 — Tampa Bay Rays, 1. Miami took the Florida series finale by three with a late-inning rally.
Athletics, 5 — Houston Astros, 0. The A's blanked the Astros in Houston to avoid the sweep, the night's first shutout.
Kansas City Royals, 6 — Minnesota Twins, 5. Kansas City held on for a one-run road win in Minneapolis.
St. Louis Cardinals, 5 — Cincinnati Reds, 3. The Cardinals completed the home sweep of the Reds by two.

Milwaukee Brewers, 12 — Colorado Rockies, 4. Milwaukee posted a dozen at Coors and took the road game by eight.
Arizona Diamondbacks, 5 — Washington Nationals, 1. Arizona closed the home series with the Nationals by four.
Los Angeles Angels, 13 — Los Angeles Dodgers, 5. The Angels punched back in the Freeway Series finale at Chavez Ravine by eight, after Saturday's 9-2 Dodgers win had evened the series at one apiece.
New York Mets, 7 — San Diego Padres, 3. The Mets took the road game at Petco by four.
San Francisco Giants, 2 — Chicago Cubs, 1. A one-run Sunday Night Baseball finish at Wrigley, the Giants taking it by one in front of the NBC window.
