Milwaukee blanked Baltimore 1-0 to push the best record in the majors to 97-58, and two games went to walk-offs: Tampa Bay over Boston, then Arizona over the Yankees, both on ninth-inning runs. Tampa Bay Rays 2, Boston Red Sox 1. Boston scored in the third to lead 1-0, and the game stayed there until Tampa Bay tied it with a run in the fourth. Neither bullpen budged again until the Rays scored in the bottom of the ninth to walk it off. Boston out-hit Tampa Bay 8-7 and still lost, with two Red Sox errors adding to the trouble.

Arizona Diamondbacks 5, New York Yankees 3. New York scored single runs in the fifth and sixth to go up 3-2, but Arizona answered right back with two runs in the sixth to tie it at 3-3. Both sides went quiet until the Diamondbacks pushed across two runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off with a 5-3 win.

Atlanta Braves 6, Houston Astros 3. Houston led 2-0 through five innings before Atlanta got on the board with a run in the sixth, then broke the game open with a four-run seventh to go ahead 5-2. Houston's run in the eighth wasn't enough to answer.
