Colorado Rockies, 3 — Arizona Diamondbacks, 2. Colorado trailed 2-0 after Arizona scored twice in the first, then answered with two runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to take the lead for good. Arizona out-hit Colorado 8-6, but the Diamondbacks couldn't push another run across after the first inning.

Tampa Bay Rays, 12 — Athletics, 4. Tampa Bay scored twice in the first and never trailed, breaking the game open with a three-run fourth and a three-run eighth. The Rays out-hit Oakland 11-8 without committing an error.

Atlanta Braves, 4 — New York Mets, 0. Atlanta shut out New York, scoring single runs in the fifth and seventh before a two-run eighth put it away. The Braves needed just three hits to do it; the Mets managed four and were shut out anyway.
