Buffalo punched back in Montreal. The Sabres routed the Canadiens 8-3 in Game 6 at the Bell Centre to even the East 2nd Round 3-3 and force a Game 7, with an early goalie swap setting off the rally. NBA was dark with Cavaliers-Pistons Game 7 looming Sunday. MLB ran a full 15-game Saturday: Dodgers blew out the Angels by 13, the Phillies posted the only shutout, the Mets evened the Subway Series, and three games finished by a single run.

NHL Playoffs — Sabres force Game 7

Buffalo Sabres, 8 — Montreal Canadiens, 3. Buffalo wins by five on the road at the Bell Centre to even the East 2nd Round at 3-3 and force a Game 7. Sabres coach pulled starter Alex Lyon after one save on four shots and turned the crease over to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, who stopped 18 the rest of the way to anchor the comeback. Game 7 is set for Monday.

MLB — 15-game Saturday, Dodgers blowout, Phillies shutout

Fifteen games, one shutout, one double-digit blowout, and three one-run finishes. The Dodgers were the only club to crack double digits and did it by 13 at Angel Stadium.

Los Angeles Dodgers, 15 — Los Angeles Angels, 2. Los Angeles wins by 13 on the road in the Freeway Series, the biggest blowout of the night and the only double-digit total.

Washington Nationals, 13 — Baltimore Orioles, 3. Washington wins by 10 at home for the second-biggest margin of the night.

Miami Marlins, 10 — Tampa Bay Rays, 5. Miami wins by five on the road in the interleague matchup.

Chicago White Sox, 8 — Chicago Cubs, 3. Chicago wins by five at home in the Crosstown matchup.

Cleveland Guardians, 7 — Cincinnati Reds, 4. Cleveland wins by three at home in the Ohio Cup matchup.

San Diego Padres, 7 — Seattle Mariners, 4. San Diego wins by three on the road.

Philadelphia Phillies, 6 — Pittsburgh Pirates, 0. Philadelphia wins by six on the road, the only shutout of the night.

San Francisco Giants, 6 — Oakland Athletics, 4. San Francisco wins by two on the road in the Bay Bridge matchup.

New York Mets, 6 — New York Yankees, 3. New York wins by three at Citi Field to even the Subway Series 1-1 ahead of Sunday's rubber match.

Houston Astros, 4 — Texas Rangers, 1. Houston wins by three at home in the Silver Boot.

Colorado Rockies, 4 — Arizona Diamondbacks, 2. Colorado wins by two at home.

St. Louis Cardinals, 4 — Kansas City Royals, 2. St. Louis wins by two at home.
