Milwaukee Brewers, 5 — Los Angeles Dodgers, 4. Los Angeles led 4-2 after eight innings on the strength of a one-run fifth and a three-run sixth, but Milwaukee answered with three runs in the top of the ninth to take the lead for good. The Brewers out-hit the Dodgers 10-4.
Pittsburgh Pirates, 13 — Miami Marlins, 1. Pittsburgh scored in four separate innings, capped by a five-run ninth, and finished with 16 hits to Miami's three.
