Friday belonged entirely to baseball. With both the NBA Finals and the Stanley Cup Final on off-days, a 15-game MLB slate carried the night, led by a Red Sox demolition of Texas and a Mariners romp over Washington. The upsets stood out too: the White Sox knocked off the Dodgers by six and the Blue Jays handled the Yankees in the AL East. Two games came down to a single run.

MLB — Fifteen-game Friday board

A loaded Friday slate that ran on Boston and Seattle blowouts, a Brewers shutout, a couple of Dodgers and Yankees upsets, and a stack of one-run finishes.

Boston Red Sox, 10 — Texas Rangers, 1. Boston buried Texas by nine in the night's widest margin.

Seattle Mariners, 10 — Washington Nationals, 2. Seattle ran away from Washington by eight.

Milwaukee Brewers, 6 — Philadelphia Phillies, 0. A clean shutout, with Milwaukee holding the Phillies to zero across nine.

Chicago White Sox, 8 — Los Angeles Dodgers, 2. The White Sox stunned the Dodgers by six in the night's biggest upset.

Houston Astros, 10 — Kansas City Royals, 8. A slugfest, Houston outscoring Kansas City by two with 18 runs on the board.

Minnesota Twins, 9 — St. Louis Cardinals, 8. Minnesota outlasted St. Louis by a run in a back-and-forth, high-scoring finish.

Toronto Blue Jays, 8 — New York Yankees, 5. Toronto took down the Yankees by three in an AL East tilt.

Miami Marlins, 8 — Pittsburgh Pirates, 3. Miami pushed past Pittsburgh by five.

New York Mets, 7 — Atlanta Braves, 5. The Mets held off Atlanta by two in the NL East matchup.

Baltimore Orioles, 7 — San Diego Padres, 3. Baltimore handled San Diego by four.

Athletics, 6 — Colorado Rockies, 4. The Athletics edged Colorado by two in the West.

Chicago Cubs, 5 — San Francisco Giants, 1. The Cubs cruised past San Francisco by four.

Arizona Diamondbacks, 5 — Cincinnati Reds, 2. Arizona handled Cincinnati by three.

Los Angeles Angels, 4 — Tampa Bay Rays, 3. The Angels nipped Tampa Bay by a single run.

Cleveland Guardians, 3 — Detroit Tigers, 2. A one-run AL Central game, Cleveland edging Detroit by one.

What to watch tonight
