NBA Playoffs — Knicks win Game 1 in overtime
New York Knicks, 115 — Cleveland Cavaliers, 104 (OT). The Knicks win by eleven, but the final margin was built entirely in the extra period. The game was tight through regulation before New York overwhelmed Cleveland 14-3 in overtime. Jalen Brunson carried the offense with 38 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals. Donovan Mitchell answered with 29 points and 6 steals, but the Cavaliers had no counter once overtime started. NY leads series 1-0.
MLB — 15-game Tuesday board
Fifteen games, two double-digit winners, and five one-run finishes. The Athletics put up the night's biggest number in a 14-6 win over the Angels, and the Rangers blanked Colorado 10-0. The late slate belonged to the close games, with four more decided by a single run.
