Rosterlytic Account Guide: Profile, Settings & Subscription

Your Rosterlytic account is the single login that connects everything — your teams, leagues, stats, and chat. Here's how to keep it set up the way you want.

Your profile

Your display name shows up everywhere in Rosterlytic: roster lists, stat leaderboards, chat messages, lineup cards, and attendance records. It's how your teammates and commissioners identify you across the app.

To update your display name:

  • Mobile app: Go to Settings > Profile and tap your name to edit it
  • Web dashboard: Visit app.rosterlytic.com and go to Account Settings

Display names can be up to 50 characters. Keep it recognizable — your teammates should be able to spot you at a glance in a roster or stat list.

Signing in

Rosterlytic uses email and password authentication. Your account works on both the mobile app and the web dashboard at app.rosterlytic.com — same email, same data, fully synced.

If you forget your password, tap Forgot password on the login screen. You'll receive a reset link at the email address you signed up with.

If you're having trouble signing in, make sure you verified your email after creating your account. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the verification email from Rosterlytic.

Notification preferences

Rosterlytic sends push notifications for game reminders, RSVP nudges, chat messages, score updates, lineup changes, and league announcements. You can control exactly which notifications you receive for each team, league, or group.

To manage your preferences, go to Settings > Notification Preferences in the app. Each team and league has independent toggles, so you can mute chat on one team while keeping game updates on for everything else.

For detailed troubleshooting — especially if notifications aren't coming through on Android or iOS — see our Notification Setup and Troubleshooting guide.

Managing your subscription

View and manage your plan from the Billing page on the web dashboard or through your device's app store (App Store or Google Play).

Rosterlytic has four tiers:

  • Free — Core team management with ads
  • Team — $1.99/mo, ad-free with web dashboard access
  • League — $9.99/mo, multi-team league management with schedules and brackets
  • Organization — $49.99/mo, unlimited leagues for rec centers and sports organizations

For full details on what each plan includes, see our Plans & Pricing guide.

Restoring purchases

If you switch to a new phone or reinstall the app, go to Settings > Restore Purchases to re-activate your subscription. This links your app store purchase back to your Rosterlytic account.

Multiple teams and leagues

One Rosterlytic account handles everything. You can be a captain on one team, a regular player on another, and a commissioner of a league — all with the same login. No need for separate accounts.

Switch between your teams and leagues from the main navigation. Each team and league has its own roster, schedule, stats, and chat, all tied to your single account. You can also manage everything from the web dashboard.

Leaving or deleting

Leave a team

Go to Team Settings and tap Leave Team. Your stats and game history are preserved in the team's records even after you leave.

Delete a team

Only the team owner can delete a team. This permanently removes the team and all its data for every member. Make sure this is what you want before confirming.

Leave a league

Captains submit a withdrawal request to the commissioner, who approves or denies it. You can't unilaterally pull your team from an active league — the commissioner has final say.

Tips

  • Keep your display name consistent across seasons so teammates can find you in rosters and stat lists without confusion.
  • Use the same email on mobile and web so your data stays synced automatically. If you sign up with different emails, you'll end up with two separate accounts.
  • Check your email verification if you're locked out. Unverified accounts can't sign in after the initial session expires.
  • Restore purchases first before contacting support about a missing subscription. Most billing issues resolve with a simple restore.
