Chicago Cubs, 4 — Chicago White Sox, 3. The Cubs (74-53) trailed 3-2 after four innings, tied it with a run in the seventh, then walked it off with a run in the ninth to open a crosstown series with the White Sox (65-60).

Kansas City Royals, 4 — Athletics, 3. Down 3-1 entering the bottom of the ninth, the Royals (53-74) scored three runs to walk off the Athletics (49-77).
